The Town of Buckland was founded in 1779 and is located in Franklin County.

Buckland contains about 2000 year round residents.

The town has a small recreational facility and park as well as Glacial Potholes which is considered one of the most beautiful spots in western Massachusetts. Also stop at the world renowned Bridge of Flowers which is the only one of its kind in the world and attracts over 24000 visitors each year.
